The song is based on Revelation 3:15-16 {New Living Translation – 15 “I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish that you were one or the other! 16 But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth!}
It basically offers the listener life application to why this “Lukewarm” or as I call it the “Gray area” is so dangerous and can cause people to be confused about who we say we are as Christians. It also ends up with a prayer that asks God to help us in times where we are confused by temptation.
While a strong message to an Urban beat, the song is very relate-able to most any Christian at any stage of salvation.
