Steven Ford Music Symposium 09Pastor and famed producer Steven Ford is gearing up to host a music symposium at the University of Delaware in Newark. Called “Is your music department a ministry or a misery?”

The workshop is designed to develop future musicians and producers on the college level, as well as those just starting in the professional arena.

Ford has garnered years of experience within the industry, producing for artists including Fred Hammond, Richard Smallwood, Pastor Shirley Caesar, Bishop T.D. Jakes, Maurette Brown Clark, and Pastor Donnie McClurkin.

Last Year Ford said, “For many years I’ve imagined what a blessing it would be for others if I could pour knowledge and experience into a bottle, package it, and offer it. Well, this is the bottle, the package, the gift, to the ‘Gifted Ones.’” He continues by saying, “This is the conference that you must attend. Come, share with me and my phenomenal gifted brothers and sisters as we pour out, and give you insight and instruction in music and ministry. Come be empowered, as we impart knowledge and experience that will enhance your ability to present the manifestation of your gifts that God may be glorified, and that lives be challenged, charged, and changed.”

Bible 21 Conference

Rediscovering the relevance and transforming power of the Bible in the 21st Century

This conference will take place at Thomas Risley church on Saturday14th November 2009 and the keynote speaker is Derek Tidball. The bible is the “most bought, least read book”. We live in an age when an ever decreasing number of Christians in the UK read the bible. The church is also in serious decline. Is there a correlation between the two and has this most ancient of texts really got any relevance for 21st century life?
