Hip Hop artists Jahaziel and Guvna B have joined together to record a new charity single, ‘Coming For Me’, in order to raise awareness of the countless Christians who face injustice, persecution and discrimination simply because of their faith.

‘Coming For Me’ was inspired by Brother Andrew and has been presented by Preacher Boy Missions. The song was produced by Grammy Nominated and award winning producer Steven ‘G.P.’ Abramsamadu

Rapper Jahaziel, who went on a trip to aid the persecuted in Pakistan, said:”Meeting with Christian brothers and sisters in Pakistan who’ve lost homes, family, along with their freedoms for following Jesus is the starkest reminder I have ever experienced of what the Gospel of Jesus means. Their horrific plight inspired me to make this track and hopefully give these people a voice”.

‘Coming For Me’ is being released to draw attention to Open Doors’ Right to Believe campaign which has now been signed by over 80,000 people in the UK alone.

We are urging all of our supporters to download the song this week and spread the word. Please visit facebook.com/opendoorsuk for the official music video.

The Hip Hop artists involved in the song are Jahaziel, Guvna B, New Direction Crew, McGladius from 29th Chapter, E Tizz, S.O, and Armor.

This acclaimed gospel singer cum pastor preached to his congregation at the Lighthouse Full Centre church on October 17.

Sapp told the 250 strong congregation, “I’m not saying it’s been easy. … It’s been very difficult for me and for my family as a whole. But I do realize the Bible is right: keep holding us up in prayer.”

Malinda had served as administrative pastor at the church, but whilst she was sick, had met with members of the leadership team and shared with them details of the tasks she was responsible for so that the church would be able to function smoothly when she died.

Sapp has resumed some of the musical commitments he had put on hold after his wife’s death. He has rejoined the nationwide “How Sweet the Sound” gospel choir competition, for which he is a performing judge. He also is doing more than a dozen church-based dates for the American Heart Association promoting stroke-awareness and prevention in the African-American Community.

He will also spend more time at home. He shared, “Formerly, I was gone 20 days a month, but in 2011 it will be more like 10,” said Sapp, as he puts more focus on family and in working toward the academy project.

“Without question she is missed, and I can say honestly say there are times I am very lonely. But I have my kids who keep me laughing, and there have been tens of thousands of people who have Facebooked or Twittered with words of support that have been an unbelievable blessing.”
