Tony has always had strong links to Gospel music, having previously sung with Gospel bands Seven and Reel People. Before he joined Incognito in 2006, Tony toured with both D’Sound and The Brand New Heavies and his rich, soulful voice has been mesmerising crowds around the world twice over!

The G.M.A’s 2009 is the first annual Gospel Music Awards Ceremony in the UK. The Gospel Music Awards UK, is by no means a competition but an evening of appreciation and recognition of some of our best talented and hard working Christian musicians. The format of the event will include an Awards show, a Concert and After Party, at one of Europe’s largest hotel and conference centres, Hilton Metropole Hotel, London on Saturday 5th December 2009.
This unique event aims to:
- celebrate and honour the best of Gospel music and culture in the UK
- showcase and promote the diverse range of talent in UK gospel industry
- raise the profile of Christian events in the UK,
- become a permanent fixture in the UK’s annual Christian events calendar

With some of the most memorable moments and powerful performances on television, it’s hard to believe BET’s annual special Celebration of Gospel, marks its 10th anniversary this year. BET will celebrate its annual mega-hit special CELEBRATION OF GOSPEL at the famed Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles on Saturday 12 December.
With grandiose performances by gospel and mainstream artists, a 24-piece orchestra led by world-renowned musical director Ray Chew, and the most engaging host around, bestselling author, radio host and King of Comedy Steve Harvey. CELEBRATION OF GOSPEL will air in the UK in February 2010 and be larger and more soulful than ever.
This year is set to deliver an exciting show filled with breathtaking performances and spoken word segments by both mainstream and gospel greats. What is Urbana?
Urbana is the missions conference for North American students hosted by InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA and Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship of Canada. Urbana 09 will be our 22nd conference. The first “Urbana” was held in Toronto in 1946. From 1948 to 2003, the conference was held at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. Since 2006, Urbana has been held at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, Missouri. Generations of college students have come to Urbana to hear about cutting edge issues in missions and to respond to the call to participate in God’s global mission. During the five days of Urbana participants will experience multicultural worship and drama, dynamic speakers, in-depth Bible study and prayer. They will also be encouraged to explore short-term and vocational opportunities as they interact with representatives from more than 300 mission agencies and educational institutions. Attendance at Urbana is usually around 20,000. Urbana 09 will be held December 27-31, 2009.
