On September the 21st-22nd 2009, The Higher Ground Record Pool and 1 Accord DJ Alliance will host its 1st Annual DJ Conference.
This milestone marks the creation of the 1st National DJ Conference for the Faith-based community. The Conference is geared to educate, empower, and mobilize Gospel and Christian DJs while equipping them in grassroots promotions and business stabilization.
It all kicks off in the city where DJs (Hip Hop and Gospel) where birthed—New York City. Open to DJs, artists, record labels, and radio personalities this conference through a combination of workshops, seminars, DJ exhibits, artists showcases and some “Holy Ghost” partying, will leave attendees with a better understanding of the united role they play for those in the Faith-based music industry.
NY based HGRP President Dr. D says, “With the rise of artist driven monolithic syndicated urban radio shows, it’s time for an organized DJ driven movement”.
