After 12 months and 12 shows across 8 cities in the UK, Love Sax and all that Jazz the smash hit gospel comedy play from Alan Charles returns for the third time to the Broadway Theatre Catford for 2 nights only on 12th and 13th February 2011.

The show addressed various aspects of the love relationship through the eyes of four female friends. Alan Charles’ script does not skirt around the issues – dealing with sex before marriage, domestic violence, being “unequally yoked”, singleness, infidelity, love and romance – situations that takes place both inside and outside the church.
In an attempt to put forth the why, when and how’s of relationships, Love Sax and all that Jazz cleverly makes you laugh, cry, shout, chuckle and scream all that same time. Lisa (Angela Blake) is a single 30-something-year-old hurt in the past and looking to find love again by asking the Lord to deal with her past pain. Louise (Michelle Homer) has to make the choice of whether or not to marry her first love, Alfred, who is not a Christian. Shanice (Michelle Charles) whose husband physically abuses her, should she stay? And does Kelly (Kae Corion) know a good thing when she’s got it?
The story of the friends is dealt with through songs, drama, comedy and the spoken word. Incorporating a live four-piece band, the production is thought-provoking, humorous and one that inspired and uplifted the whole family.
The cast boasts an impressive bunch of people –including husband and wife team Rohan and Selina Alexander, Shirley and Jason Grant, and Courtney Hoilet – some of who featured in Alan’s previous play, “I am getting there”.
The production has already enjoyed critical acclaim throughout the UK and has just returned from a successful tour of the Caribbean Island of Trinidad and Tobago.

COURAGEOUS – the next movie from Sherwood Pictures, makers of FIREPROOF – debuts nationwide Sept. 30, 2011, with an exciting story of the difference that dedicated fathers can make in the lives of their families. What FIREPROOF – the No. 1 independent film of 2008 – did to encourage couples to bring unconditional love to marriage, COURAGEOUS stands to do for parents and their children. The film will be distributed by TriStar Pictures, a division of Sony Pictures Entertainment.
COURAGEOUS follows the lives of five men, four of them deputy sheriffs in Albany, Ga. A sudden and unexpected tragedy forces each man to consider what kind of father he has been . . . and just what God intends of fathers.

“My hope is that COURAGEOUS will cause men to re-think what success really is,” said Michael Catt, executive producer, and senior pastor of Sherwood Church, the ministry home of Sherwood Pictures. “Success in life is not in things, but in your most intimate relationships. You are successful if you have a strong faith, children who love you, and a wife who adores you.”
The Sherwood Pictures executive team is Sherwood Church Senior Pastor Michael Catt, Executive Pastor Jim McBride, and Stephen and Alex Kendrick. COURAGEOUS was co-written by Stephen and Alex, and directed by Alex, who also plays one of the law enforcement officers in the ensemble cast.
